There isn’t a universal parenting school and our kid’s don’t come complete with a manual! We all do the best we can as we raise our children, but what are we teaching them? The cycle we are continuing could be one that we learned as a child. Jo-Anne knows only too well the overwhelming feelings of being exhausted from running on life's treadmill, having stress filled days at home and at work, not to mention worries about money and relationship issues. She saw how her behaviors and reactions impacted her children and others in her life and found a way to unlearn the only way she knew how to be. During this interactive seminar, Jo-Anne will bring awareness and share what has worked for her to break the cycle of unhealthy patterns not only in her family but also in other areas in her life. It is designed to unfold so that everyone can have the opportunity to learn the tools that they individually need to create the desired shifts in their lives.

Final Thought: from Nikole with LUV...
Little Children, Little problem….
The saying “little children, little problems; big children, big problems,” has a different meaning for you and for your child. From your point of View it has to do with controlling your child, and from your child’s point of view It has to do with the size of the problems he or she is facing… It is easy for you to be in control when your child is little, especially when you are bigger. In your position of power you may abuse it, be complacent, or use it fairly. This is Also the time when your child’s problems are generally minor and straightforward, and For those reasons you may tend to ignore them, especially when your child is not assertive…
As your child is growing bigger, he or she is challenging your authority more often. This occurs When your child’s newly sophisticated intellect is combined with physical size equal to yours. Normally, this change takes place in the teenage years, the action-packed problem years that parents Dread just as much as the “terrible twos.” Yet, the problem seeds are actually sown in the transition years, Between the ages of 8 and twelve when your child is thinking independently and viewing the world from his or her own perspective. By addressing problems when they occur, you are insuring they are not taking root and growing into tenacious out-of-control weeds during the transition years is also establishing a relationship based upon trust and respect that will carry on through the difficult teenage years…….
Your child needs guidance in finding his or her personal balance. Eventually, your child develops an awareness Of the person he or she is and gains control of his or her life….
It say’s that it gets better and better as we go and that we all survive this….I don’t know if it’s suppose to make us Feel better but I want to believe it……….- Sharolyn Vettese “ life Teacher”
