BIO: Katherine Loader Building Therapist™, Certified Feng Shui Consultant

It was just over decade ago when Katherine discovered her first book on Feng Shui.
Shortly after reading it, she started to apply these ancient but relevant principles to her own life, with amazing results, and from that point on she knew she had found her calling, a connection to her spiritual side, and a passion for helping others. She was then given the opportunity to study this ancient art under a number of Feng Shui masters. After lengthy study, she began her own Feng Shui practice and now helps clients from all walks of life, to bring harmony and balance into their homes and lives. Her entertaining and informative articles can be seen in print and on-line. Katherine and Russ are currently writing a book which will be released in late 2008.


BIO: Russ Loader B. Arch., Building Therapist™, Certified Feng Shui Consultant

Russ began his career more than twenty years ago in the field of architectural design. He has spent time as a restoration adviser and was trained as a traditional master cabinet maker and has also served on the Toronto Historical Board working with other architects helping to preserve and restore Canada’s historic buildings. Russ is a past member of the Timber Framers Guild of North America and has been nominated to the British Guild of Master Craftsmen. He has also appeared on the PBS series, This Old House, The Woodwrights Shop, HGTV’s, In The Workshop, and in Architectural Digest, Century Homes and Country Living Magazines. Also trained in the principles of Geomancy, Bau-Biologie™ and Feng Shui, he now consults together with his wife using these principles to design eco-friendly living and working spaces.

The Loaders now own and operate “Power of Place” a company that consults with home and business owners throughout Toronto and the GTA. They have now taken the art of Feng Shui to a higher level, integrating its principles with interior design, architecture, colour theory, psychology, and Bau-Biologie™ into one practice called Building Therapy.
